The 3 In The Middle

Well,

I know everybody is in shock that we are actually putting something on this blog. But hey it is March this is month that I get really anxious for warmer weather and I do realized that we live in New Mexico one minute it is warm the nextminute we have snow. But the most what I realize is that this is the month that I think my mom went crazy. I cannot imagine it but then I have 4 older siblings so I guess it wasn't that bad for Mom and Dad. I am glad that they did it I truly think that mom lost her marbles but it might be that walker gene. On or about the 21st of March mom had Cathie at that time for about approx 20 days mom had a newborn (Cathie) 1yr old(Jen) and a 2yr old(Brian). Over the years I have told great stories about us 3 in the middle bunch. After us three came along mom took a break for a time then along came Paul, Aaron and Holly which were spread out. But the 3 in the middle well............ so in march I often reflect on the broken bones, and the black eyes that were inflicted and of course being thrown across the room. Then of course I think of Cathie and all the endless torment that we inflicted upon her. Of course my two younger sisters probably have a different recollection of it all. My Four older siblings probably remember things different, but I will never forget putting a mouse in Susan's cereal bowl as she was eating the cereal. She of course went out screaming. But hey my job was to catch the mouse after that anything could happen, man did I pay for that one.
Over the course of many years I have had the opportunity to go to college with Cathie and we endured the mighty long drive (even when she went the wrong way on the reservation) and eat Jen out of house and home. I can say it was mighty fine food for a poor starving college student. Now that I look back on it she was just as poor as I was but hey what can I say excepts thanks.
But I am grateful for mom "losing her marbles" and having us "the 3 in the middle" so over the next 20 to 25 days as the 3 in the middle or only a year apart may it be the best.

20 Years

As I look back on the last 20 years I stand at cross roads. The other night I was listing to the conversation that was going on with the kids and I realized that the next 20 years are going to be quite fun. The reason why is my kids are going to start moving on with there great big adventure. They will face cross roads trials and tribulations and hopefully the will ride the wave and overcome. Time will tell I think back to that morning 20 years ago and try to remember all that happen and I do have memories of that morning and as i think about that.... everything comes back the smiles the tears the happiness. Fast Forward 20 years as I sit and listen to the children I am amazed at what I see for what I see is smiles tears and the happiness.
What will the next 20 bring....smiles tears and happiness

since everybody wants to laugh at me and conner i don't think the pictures will go up. so hah hah i laugh at you guys. anyways our house is almost done YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok just kidding i will put the pictures up of me and conner with the pictures of the finshed house when the house is done.

so i guess everyone keeps getting mad at me for not making a new post so here we go

happy late christmas our christmas was quiet, we stayed home.

our life latley has been consumed by our house. the kitchen and tile are almost done. we were happy to get our carpet right before christmas. dad and i were taking out carpet and destroyed the closet door. we fixed it as best as we could, with dad's new toy a nailgun. we lived on cement and tile till right before christmas it was nice. the carpet feels really nice now no one wants to sit on the couch they want to lay or sit on the carpet.

the best part so far has been when me and conner played with fire. just kidding we were trying to relite a fire. i put lighter fluid in it and the fumes reacted nicly. FOOSH!!!!! me and conner got burnt. i got the worst of it becasue i was right in front of the fire place. it got my hands, my face, and my hair. the fire got conner on his hair, side of his face, eyebrows and eyelashes. don't worry we are ok but neihter of us has eyelashes.

Thanksgiving with the Bowens

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everybody had a wonderful thanksgiving.
Guess what there are pictures now!!!!!!! so instead of just words there are pictures
so anyways Thanksgiving was fun everyone ate tons the food took hours to cook and of course 15min to eat boy was it good we had my mom's brother and his wife over. we went around the table and said what we were thankful for. everyone was thankful for many things but one thing that almost everyone said was family.
so i would like to close by saying i am thankful for family and what it means to me. the family is the center of every thing. immediate family and extended are all important. the family is the most important thing in this world

so the house is coming along the tile has been laid YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well conner just correted me alomst all the tile we are still missing a hallway the laundry room and the family room but we can live in peace for now.

Update

hey guys it is spencer. i am giving an update on the house. the kitchen is almost done. we are waiting on a pantry to come in so we can finish the kitchin. we have laid tile down between the front door and halfway through the family room. as soon as i figure out how to put pictures on pictures will come
